The Green Entrepreneurs Programme: Week 2

Week 2 of the Green Entrepreneurs Programme! It has been great to see the cohort get stuck into the workshops and engage with the brilliant workshop leaders.

This week we started off with a brilliant accessible breakdown in business structures by Hrvoje Konzic, Heart Centred Strategy and Business Development Freelancer. We then had Toni Eastwood, OBE, MBA from Quantum Vantage, the all important employee rights and responsibilities workshop.

Rachael Castell, Director of Our Pledge, showed the entrepreneurs how to implement environmentally impactful changes to their business structures, using the lean canvas model, or as Rachael coined, leaf canvas! Tomas Panek, Growth Marketing Consultant at Google, introduced us to the wide world of e-commerce and how to start a business online. We had an insightful conversation with Rachael Castell and David Aula, Director of Unfeasible about the importance of building your confidence with your community in context with your business. We finished our day with an in-depth dive into what emotional intelligence means for leadership with Mamta Gera, Leadership Coach & Facilitator. We had a jam packed day!

We finished our week with two sessions by Pagan-Lilley Phillips, Accessibility and Inclusion Consultant, starting off with a brilliant introduction to EDI (Equality/Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) and the importance of this to any business. Then followed with a reflection on business goals and missions by using the Johari Window framework for understanding conscious and unconscious bias. The entrepreneurs finished their week with learning how to optimise their websites for their businesses with Kim Darragon, Founder of Kim Does Marketing.

A wide variety of workshops this week to really support the entrepreneurs business development! It's been great getting to know the cohort and learning more about their visions for their business ideas!
